A sincere thank you to all who helped in our Pesach preparations.
Thanks to Alison Band and Jared Black for shopping and, along with Anne Cohen DePalma, for kashering our kitchen.
Thanks, also, to a great team that cooked for many hours yesterday! Led by Stacey Severn (far left in last picture)...and her sous chefs, Tammy Kahn, Lindsey Caplan, and Lauren Esposito, they made some very special Passover dishes, while a few Sunday school kids...Gabe Cella, John Eaton and Selena Jean Cella...lent their hands to make our matzah balls and help with those side dishes. Maya Sparks, Galina Esposito and Lindsey set beautiful tables and helped shred potatoes and chop lots of garlic. The kids were awesome, as were the adults. It was lots of work, very productive and tons of fun!
This Thursday, Elise and Wynn Schoolnik will be at the synagogue cooking one of our main dishes, so a pre-preparation thanks to them, as well.
It takes a village to make a seder like ours and we are blessed with some really wonderful villagers!
Barry and I wish you all a sweet, peaceful and Happy Passover,
Phyllis
