7:00 PM - 9:00 PMZOOM ONLYSnapshot Three: A Year in the Life
In our six-part series, we will be exploring Judaism as a civilization. Judaism is too broad a subject with too long and rich a history to be understood merely as a religion. We will examine that civilization through the lens of that history, that religion, and those forces from both within and without that have shaped its development up until today.
Judaism is very much tied to its unique calendar. That calendar colors our sense of time and the sense of how our lives play out over time. In this session we will explore the unique functioning of the Jewish calendar, and dive into the holidays that not only regulate our behavior, but seek to develop our character.
